Miami Open

I created a t-shirt design for the Miami Open, an annual tennis tournament featuring many of the best players in the world. The Miami Open belongs to both the ATP Masters 1000 series and WTA 1000 series. I aimed to create a timeless design that would appeal to the older segments of the tournament’s audience, but would still feel cool to younger attendees. I sought to evoke mid-century Miami through typography and my illustrations that one could imagine seeing painted on the side of a beach shack, peeling from the sun.
